CBS4 Denver’s Traffic Anchor and General Assignment Reporter. In addition to reporting on traffic every morning on CBS4, Jane has demonstrated her versatility as a newsperson with stories ranging from the return of US troops, to breaking news and criminal investigations. She’s interviewed elite athletes, Hollywood celebrities, and the homeless. Her human interest stories have been picked up network TV, including CNN. On the lighter side, she’s game to walk in a hamster ball at Taste of Colorado, or two-step at Cheyenne’s Frontier Days… all on live TV.Prior to joining CBS4, Jane covered traffic, entertainment and human interest stories for KABC-TV in Los Angeles. There, she anchored the station’s inaugural live webcast of the Academy Awards Arrivals Show and the internationally televised, “An Evening at the Academy Awards.” She was also KABC’s resident dance expert during “Dancing With the Stars” season. Her radio experience spans LA and Orange County’s brush fire coverage, to serving as an international correspondent for all-news radio station, KFWB. She also co-hosted a Sunday brunch show on smooth jazz station, 94.7, KTWV, The Wave. She has recorded several promo and industrial voice-overs over the years.
Jane received her bachelor’s degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami, where she was captain of nationally ranked dance team, “The Sunsations.” As a co-ed, she was crowned Miss Asian American Florida. In her spare time, Jane enjoys travel photography, salsa dancing, golf, and of course, watching (The U) Miami Hurricanes Football. ”GO CANES!”
