Chad serves as the National Director of Player Development at Authentic Athletix, leveraging his 15-year All-Pro NFL career as a linebacker to guide clients through pre-All Star and Combine training, training camp, and regular-season preparation. A Pro Bowl selection for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, and New England Patriots, he was also an NFLPA player representative and contributed to player safety initiatives. A Pasadena native, Chad had a stellar collegiate career at the University of Colorado, helping secure the school's first National Championship. He now resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with his wife and two teenage children.
Overview
As the National Director of Player Development at Authentic Athletix, Chad leverages his extensive experience as a former NFL player to provide invaluable guidance to clients navigating their professional careers. With a remarkable 15-year career as an All-Pro linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, and New England Patriots, Chad played a crucial role in the renowned 1994 Steelers' "Blitzburg" defense and earned Pro Bowl selections in 1996, 1998, and 1999. His leadership abilities shone as he served as team captain for six seasons.

In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Chad was a proactive player representative to the NFLPA for six seasons, where he contributed to player safety initiatives and helped draft significant programs like the performance-based pay pool and the veteran minimum salary rule. Born and raised in Pasadena, California, he attended John Muir High School and was an All-State football selection, earning a reputation that led to a stellar collegiate career at the University of Colorado. There, Chad was a three-time All-Big 8 selection and played a pivotal role in securing the school's first National Championship.

Today, Chad resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where he enjoys life with his wife and their two teenage children, continuing to inspire the next generation of athletes with his wealth of knowledge and experience.
